It has a fairly plumb bow and stern to maximize the
overall waterline length to give it good hull speed. A fairly high prismatic
coefficient maximizes this hull speed. The fairly round bottom decreases the
wetted surface are for a minimum of drag while sacrificing stability. It has a
good amount of "skegginess" in the stern to keep it tracking straight. This
boat should be able to 21+ miles in less than 3 hours given the right power
plant (that would be you).
