The Atlantic is an expedition size kayak designed to carry camping gear yet be fast and responsive. It has hard chines for carved turns and a flared bow for a dry ride. This boat weighs about 50 lbs.

Strip built kayaks such as the Atlantic can be built with most unique patterns of contrasting wood strip patterns. Additional decorations of Veneer art can be added.

The custom built Atlantic shown above, has a built in hand pump for emptying the cockpit after demonstrating wet entry techniques.
